We are proud to say that in 2012 our restaurant have existed for 22 years. Upali Wedage who is the owner and chef of the restaurant, arrived in Denmark in 1971. He traveled as a young man from his homeland Sri Lanka with a great eagerness to explore the rest of the world and to get inspired to realize the dream of opening his own restaurant one day.
There were many trips to the U.S., France, Italy, not to mention Lucerne in Switzerland, where he went to the Hotel and Restaurant School of Switzerland. Upali has always been inspired by the European cuisine, especially the French. In our menus, you can taste hints of inspiration from several countries in Europe.
